  1. Good stuff on your blog! I picked up on it due to your comment and link on a recent Gospel Coaliton post by Kevin DeYoung at http://thegospelcoalition.org/blogs/kevindeyoung/2012/05/25/how-to-leave-your-old-church/

Good recommendations. We always asked those who desire membership to handle closure to former Church associations with the grace of the gospel. But you might find this piece I wrote from a different perspective helpful:

When people leave a Church: (guidance for Church leaders)

How should a local Church respond when members or regular attendees leave the assembly? How can Church leaders minimize potential misperceptions and unnecessary disruptions of unity?

I know there is a lot more important content on your blog, but my questions are concerning the “monkey on the rope” headline photo! Is this photo copyrighted? Should credit be given and to whom if it is reproduced? What is your explanation behind this photo for using it as a headliner? I know that there has to be some kind of story or symbolism there! Thanks, and keep up the good work!

    • No story behind it. Didn’t notice any claim of copyright. Every so often I change them for variety. Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be working in an office all summer at LBC completing a book.
