Think deeply about this – “judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment (James 2:13). Meditate long on this truth .
The Lord blessed “the merciful” declaring that “THEY will be shown mercy” (Matthew 5:7). We should tremble at these words whenever we’re tempted to be unmerciful. Should it alarm us when those who claim to experience God’s mercy are unmerciful?
The apostle Paul confessed, “Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy” (I Timothy 1:13).
Are you grateful for mercy?
I am amazed to have a place in God’s mercy!
Thank you God for your mercy.
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
Humbled by mercy,
