Words of comfort and hope

cropped-digo-ws_black_100.jpgI invite you today to…

“Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations” (Psalm 100:3-5).

Never forget that…

“Once you were like sheep
 who wandered away.
But now you have turned to your Shepherd,
the Guardian of your souls” (I Peter 2:25).

Because of His great mercy you can say,

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, the valley of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me” (Psalm 23:1-4).

If this has not yet been your experience, hear the invitation of Jesus,

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29).
